This was always one of my favorite pages from Spectre: A Dark Matter. I just love the layout and it’s the first page where I showed a large outer space scene. Searius’s ship releases a probe on the far side of Carporia (the gas giant that Mineta orbits) just before Reesa and Storbo arrive for their first Spectre mission. Since Mineta is a hollowed out moon base, it has an internal hangar for their ships to dock. A door disguised as a crater opens up and the ships can fly down an access tube to dock.
The whole point of this long, drawn out beginning sequence of arriving on Mineta is to show where the Spectre live and operate from. In future stories, we will probably spend very little time here.
