Again, I started with the idea that each member of the Spectre Team would have their own Outposts and meet at Mineta from time to time for group missions. Having Storbo arrive just after Reesa gave Spark the opportunity to take a jab at him and imply to the reader that Reesa and Storbo have not yet met.
I originally wanted to follow only the missions of Spark and Prox and then have the others come in when I needed new story ideas. But I got to liking the other characters so much that I wanted to use them more and have them function as a team and not as side characters that popped in every so often. Also, having to show them constantly arriving and leaving Mineta in every story would become cumbersome.
Spark getting mad at the escapades of Prox is a theme that I will stick with throughout all of the Spectre adventures. Though, the more I write, the more complex their relationship will be revealed to be. This was still early in my development of all of these characters and I was still trying to figure out who they were. They definately evolve over time and come into their personalities.
