Spectre Space Comics

Storbo was supposed to be the strong, silent type. I wanted him to have an attitude and play by his own rules. I also wanted Spark to constantly give him a hard time. His robotic companion, Blip, was intended to be an annoyance to everyone but Storbo. At this stage of my writing, I was still getting to know the characters. In this story, and going forward, you will notice their personalities will slightly change. The group dynamic will also become better established.

I rewrote this scene years after I drew it. Reesa was originally replacing a different member of the team that Storbo was familiar with. When he arrived on Mineta he was suprised to see Reesa instead of this other character who I can’t even remember what I called him. But elaborating on a storyline where Reesa replaced another character seemed a little superfluous and I nixed it. Reesa ended up being selected by Spark to join and thus we have the three Tibari of this Spectre Team.
